85 Acre lake just for boat owners

We have a large 85 acre lake set aside for Boat Owners, this is ideal for holiday makers who like to take their own boats away with them. The lake is divided into 2 lanes, Lane One has a competition style slalom course and 2 jumps, and Lane Two an area divided up for recreational skiing. There can be up to 3 boats on the lake at anyone time, We offer the facility of Week day Launches (Monday – Friday) with a jetty for mooring your boat whilst on holiday

For the more frequent visitor to the park, there is the ability to join Castle Water Ski Club to use the lake more often, please visit www.castlewaterskiclub.co.uk for more details on membership.

Lake Information

The Waterski Lake is operated by Castle Waterski Club and their lake usage rules must be adhered to at all times. All boats on the water must be insured for a minimum of £2 million and drivers must possess a Speed Boat Drivers Award (SBDA, SBD2) or a RYA Power boat level 2 or higher. Details of the qualification must be seen and photocopied prior to launching on the lake and your boat must undergo a Safety Check before launch.
